I'm Maria, founder of Mariefleurs, a full-service artisan gifting business specializing in gift design for weddings, corporate events, and life’s special occasions. I still recall my first steps in the flower business and the excitement I was experiencing at that time. However, I quickly realized that true magic unfolds when we work within our personal 'zone of genius.' And for me, that’s certainly gifting!

Looking back, I’ve always been good at finding solutions. When a friend of mine asked my help for a special newborn gift, I sadly came to a dead end. I was looking for something truly unique, something that would create lasting memories for the recipient. Since I couldn’t find exactly what I had in mind, I decided to create it. I needed a solution, and I found one! And that made me happy. It made my friend happy. Most importantly, it made the baby and the new parents happy. That’s when I decided to make the bold move and do it professionally. Not easy, but who says we’re here for the easy stuff?

I studied Law, believing that it was the right fit for me. While it has never been my passion, I have never regretted studying it. Looking back, I now realize at what point my studies helped me taking the right decision for both my personal and professional life.

When I'm not surrounded by boxes and ribbons, you'll find me taking care of my garden, redecorating my home, or cooking.
